I am so glad someone made this cuz I’ve always wondered how the movement of the solar system might look as a whole….

BUT LOOK HOW EPIC THE SOLAR SYSTEM IS GUYS

PEOPLE DON’T BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY WE’RE NEVER IN THE SAME PLACE ONCE.
I WASN’T FUCKING KIDDING.

WOW

I am glad someone illustrated this because I always imagined that space isn’t some kinda flat plane like how every other scientific illustration of the solar system shows.  I figured you can manuver in space on all three axies!  Science Fiction implies this, but never shows it as they usually focus on the vessel rather than the whole of the system.
Perhaps, in a generation or so, our kids will laugh at how we all used to depict the solar system orbiting the sun on a 2D path.  They’ll laugh at how narrow we imagined these things.  We’ll have text books that project 3D simulations of how the solar system works, compared to a 2D flat image printed on a page.
We can compare today’s contemporary illustrations of the solar system to how a generation or two ago, we thought dinosaurs walked upright, leaning on their tails, and were related to lizards.

he solar system is a plane though, due to conservation of angular momentum. Of course it moves through space aswell but this is needlessly complicated and would only confuse peoples understanding of how it works. There is nothing wrong with the standard illustration frankly, it is imo like saying we shouldn’t show the earth orbiting the moon  unless we show that the earth-moon system is orbiting the sun. The information is not required. Simplicity is key.

the forever 21 downtown is legit 4 floors and the forever 21+ section is like 5 racks of clothing. the men section has more floor space than the plus size clothes……….

Why should the mens section be smaller than the plus size section? Men make up 50% of the population so like…yeah confused.

I believe the forever 21 in glasgow has a larger 21+ section than mens section, in fact it has a larger shoe section than mens section.
